Project Donor Key Results

Advancing Adolescent Health

Supporting friendly, young women-focused sexual and reproductive health.
  • 1200 adolescents received SRH information and accessed age-appropriate SHR services including HIV counseling and testing, contraceptives, and ANC.
  • 600 community structures and service providers' capacity strengthened.

Comprehensive Urban Response Framework

"CRRF: Urban Development and Liveability in the Municipality of Koboko"
  • 100 youth who are excluded from formal education, enrolled for agribusiness and vocational skilling.
  • 300 youth and women engaged in medium and/or small businesses including Village Savings and Loan Associations.
  • 140 urban farmers and their households benefited from agricultural skills, climate-smart agriculture, and inputs and tools.

Improved COVID-19 Response Support

Supporting vulnerable refugees and host communities including children, youth, and women.
  • 100 youth and young women trained in Climate Smart Agriculture and supported with agricultural inputs and tools.
  • 40 young women and men from 10 groups supported with seed capital to improve access to financial services for investment.
  • 1200 youth and women reached through climate-smart agricultural education and extension services.

Strengthening Children's Resilience

Community Project under COVID-19 Disruption Project in Koboko District.
  • 5000 households received play kits and learning materials.
  • 50 community Libraries established and supported with library materials including books.

Enhancing Access to Skills development

Reduced Unemployment among Youth through Strengthening capacity of Local Civil Society Organizations in West Nile, Uganda (EARN PROJECT)
  • 30 youth environment groups formed and supported with inputs and tools and 1200 youth trained and employed through climate-resilient and sustainable agriculture, ecology and agroforestry practices.
  • 900 vulnerable youth trained on non-formal ICT and Information Communication Technology (ICT) and linked to access gainful employment.
